The noise from the main road can be a nuisance for some if staying during busy weekends or keeping the windows open.

From the welcome gift of wine and cake to the thoughtful touches like the coffee machine and dog box with bowls and treats, we felt well taken care of. The cottage itself had everything we needed and more, with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The location was ideal, just a short walk to town, and the parking permit meant we didn't have to worry about our car. We would definitely return, especially to enjoy the lovely garden in the summer.

Had a cozy Christmas stay! Loved the convenient location right in the heart of the town, so we could easily explore all the festive attractions. The cottage provided us with a free parking permit and off-road parking option, which was a bonus. The host thoughtfully provided essentials like washing up liquid, tea, coffee, and even a bottle of wine to make our stay feel special. The cottage was beautifully decorated with quirky items that added character and the bathroom was spacious and modern.

The noisy main road outside the cottage, although the double glazing helped. , there was only one bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient for a group of guests.

One minor issue was the condition of the saucepans, as the non-stick layer had worn off, leading to food burning at the bottom. Another drawback was the leak in the bath's safety drain pipe, which caused water to flood the bathroom floor when the bath was filled.

The hotel had an incredible location, right in the center of the town. It was so convenient to be able to walk to all the sights, restaurants, and shops. The second thing that I really appreciated about this hotel was how clean and well-maintained it was. The rooms were immaculate and the hotel had a cozy and homely atmosphere. And one more thing that made my stay enjoyable was the comfortable beds. After a long day of work, it was great to sink into a soft and plush bed.
